Alright guys and gals, it’s Monday and this week is going to be different. No more surviving or focusing on Friday at 5pm.
I’m encouraging you to pick a goal, chip away at it every day this week, and be able to check it off your to-do list on Friday evening.
Need to create a freebie to help grow your email list? Outline it today, create it on Tuesday, edit and add graphics on Wednesday, set it up with your email service provider on Thursday, test it and add it to your site on Friday.
Want to jump start decluttering your life? Pack up one box each day from your kitchen, closet, shoes, bathroom cabinets, and office (or wherever needs the most help). Write August 1, 2017 on the boxes, tape them, and store in the attic or garage. Set a calendar reminder on your phone for 8/1/17. If you haven’t gotten in those boxes in 3 months, donate them without opening.
Need some freshness in your job? Talk to a new person every day this week. Write a proposal. Take an online course. Show up early. Take the stairs. Take a walk at lunch and listen to a podcast. Ask to collaborate on something a little outside your norm. Try new software.
Whatever “it” is for you, the next 5 days can improve one aspect of your life. Create micro-goals every day and head into the weekend proud that you didn’t stagnate through, you took real action. 5pm beer cheers for you!
